Robert (Bob) Kisken was born March 20, 1935, in Tarrytown, New York. Kisken studied at Hope College in Holland, Michigan and received a B.A. (1962) in math from Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois. He later did graduate work in government at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After working for a year in Cookeville, Tennessee, as Assistant Director of Operation Pebble (a program for Appalachian children), Kisken taught math and government in Ann Arbor public schools for almost thirty years (1965-1994). After retirement, Kisken was able to spend more time with his hobby in photography and does ranch and farm photography. After retirement, he has lived in Mobridge, South Dakota, Glenrock, Wyoming, and Denver, Colorado.
